I know how you feel because I’ve been down this road.
When I started my network marketing journey in 2003, I was scared out of my wits to approach my friends and let them now about the great business I had.
I only approached about 10 people in my first 2 months and because of that, I made zero money.
And then I discovered this one simple mental trick.
Once I approached prospecting differently I was no longer scared.
Root Cause of Your Fear of Prospecting
The #1 Deadly Prospecting Mistake that most distributors make is they set a goal to try and get everyone to join or buy their products.
Not only does this set unrealistic expectations but you’ll set yourself up for disappointment because you attach yourself to the outcome.
This wrong approach to your Contact list is what creates your fear of prospecting.
When it comes to prospecting, your goal is NOT to try to get everyone into the business.
Instead, your goal is simply let everyone know you HAVE a business.
You don’t care if they buy or join!
Your goal is to approach everyone as quickly as possible and just let them know you ARE in business.
When you don’t care about the outcome, you overcome your fear.
