Have you ever met a person on Facebook that you’d love to invite them to look at your business but just don’t know the right words to use?
You want to build a relationship but at the same time worry about scaring them away or wasting time with the wrong person?
I’m going to share with you a part of my 10k Social Media Recruiting Formula that helped me become one of the top sponsors and top female income earner at my MLM company.
In addition to learning 3 effective questions that’ll help you connect with strangers online, you’re also going to get my First Message Formula.
By the way, if you missed my live webinar last week about social media, you can still have time to watch the recording before it’s taken down.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Join a Group You’re Interested In
Don’t just join Facebook groups that are business or related to your product.
Instead, the easiest way to meet new friends is through Facebook Groups about things you’re interested in.
For example, since I like tennis, I would join 5 – 10 different tennis groups.
It’s always easy for people to talk about what they’re passionate about and this makes connecting with people easy.
If you like certain sports or teams, it’s always easy to connect with someone who likes the same team as you do.
Step 2: First Message Formula
If you see someone you like to connect with, add them as a friend and then you can send them this message.
Here is my First Message Formula
“Hey (First Name)
+
ENTICING First Sentence
+
Why you’re messaging them
+
Connection Point / Excitement
+
Question”
Here’s an example:
“Hey Bob, I almost didn’t reach out to you but then I decided to anyways.. I swear I’m not a random FB person with a spammy message haha.. I’ve been noticing the comments you’ve made on the Tony Robbins page, and I checked out your profile. We definitely have the same mindset like when you posted about work ethic... So I thought we should connect. Great to chat with you, what exactly do you do for work?”
Once they respond, then you have a good lead!
Step 3: 3 Effective Leading Questions
Once you have established communication, here are 3 of my favorite questions I use:
- What do you do for work?
- How long have you been doing that for?
- You must love it huh? OR Have you ever thought of doing anything else?
Those 3 questions reveal a lot about your prospect and let you know whether they’ll be good prospects or not.
If they are, then the next step is to get them on the phone, a FB chat, text, Skype, etc. and invite them to look at your business opportunity.
I recently covered this in detail, you can watch one of my recorded video trainings here.
Big Mistake that Many Distributors Make
Make sure you don’t spend too much time before you ask those 3 questions.
Those questions will help filter your prospects and save you time.
It’ll reveal who is a good prospect or not.
A common mistake is distributors spend too much time building the relationship and take weeks and months before they actually ask these 3 questions.
You don’t want to spend months only to find out the person will never be interested.
If you want to learn more, go check out the recording of my webinar that I did last week.
Comment below and let me know if these 3 questions are helpful.
