Leadership is Balance and creating a situation where your downlines always feel they are the ones who are making their decisions.

Leadership is Balance
I actually have a downline (Dave) who is in the business for 6 months already and after he heard of the new enhancement, he got so excited and wanting to open all 4 legs. Currently he have 5 downlines on right leg and 2 downlines on the left leg. One downline of his on the left leg (Bob), I could see great potential in him as a leader through his actions and attitude. Dave wanted to focus on building in 3rd and 4th leg now. I personally felt that he is able to do that because probably he thinks Bob can kick it off his own. On my point of view, best case scenario, Bob made on his own, worst case scenario, me and Dave loses a Diamond. I already advised Dave to handcuff Bob first before going into 4 legs but as a young kid, I don’t think he took my advise seriously. How would you go about this situation?

Learning to Let Others Make the Decision
One more thing about the Control…
Remember as MLM leaders, we must never be the “boss.”
Your downlines should NEVER feel they MUST listen to you.
They should always feel that it is THEM who are making the decisions
One of the MAJOR reasons people join MLM is “be their own boss.”
MLM allows them to escape from their boss and you never want them to remind them of their boss (or for GenY. they want to escape from school or parents that always tell them what to do)
So if you are too authoritative and have too much control, you will remind them of the exact situation they want to escape from!
With experience and a persistent study on leadership, you will learn how to create that leadership balance between having control and giving up control.
Remember, Leadership is about Balance!
