A Special Surprise: I will Always Remember This Moment

Today’s blog post will be a short… but a very special one.

This past Saturday, I got a really nice surprise.

It was the first time I received this type of surprise in over 12 years!

I was invited earlier in the week to attend a “business BBQ” at the home of one of my business partners, Suzanne Holub. It was going to be a small get together with mostly business team members and a few potential prospects for our network marketing business. I love to attend these events, but they are always challenging since I have to take care of baby Ethan. The good thing was that Suzanne had a pool in her backyard, and I could take Ethan to swim a little. When Suzanne invited me, I was excited to go, but knew that I had to consult with Kelly first to make sure there was nothing going on that day.

Kelly said that it was okay and that we could stop by for a bit. And so on Saturday… we went. I had no intention to stay late because I wanted to be home before Ethan’s bedtime at 8pm.

We got to Suzanne’s house at 4:30 and little did I know…

…That when you put 4 women together, they can come up with some nice surprises!

I rang the bell and Suzanne greeted me at the door… and then, once I stepped into the house, the next thing I know I had confetti thrown at me and everyone was yelling, “Surprise! Happy Birthday!”

I was so shocked and surprised! They got me good… I later found out that Kelly had been involved with this and had been planning it for the last few weeks with Suzanne, Kerry Cheung and Edith! I was totally set-up!

A Special Day Becomes a Special Night

We had a great time there… there were great fruits, wines, foods, desserts… and they even had a fireworks show for me at night!!!

I was very touched… I think the last time I had such a nice surprise for my birthday was over 10 years ago! But… this was the FIRST TIME I had a fireworks show done for me!!! (Thanks to Tim Holub!)

Thanks so much to my team members, Suzanne Holub, Kerry Cheung, Edith Lai, Luke Holub, Tim Holub and Kelly for organizing the surprise.

Life is about memories, and this was definitely something I will remember the rest of my life.

I’m Blessed with Great Friends

Who says you lose friends in network marketing? From my experience in the MLM industry, I’ve been blessed with new friends and great relationships from around the world. My surprise birthday party is just the latest example of what network marketing has done for me.

If you communicate properly and learn “No Hype Selling,” you will find that network marketing introduces an entire new world of relationships with positive and successful people.
