Sara C asked me earlier this week:
“Why are family sometimes the most difficult with my business when I thought they would be so supportive?”
Close friends and family often disappoint us in the business but this is how you can convince them

How to Convince Close Friends and Family
Close friends and family are normally the toughest people to “impress” because they know you too well.
They have seen the less impressive parts of you
and that can cloud their judgement when evaluating a great business opportunity from you.
They want to support you but they don’t believe in you because they know you’ve done other things that haven’t been successful.
But you can still convince them.
Just follow these 3 steps
Step 1: Ask for Their Advice and Opinion Instead
The key is NOT to tell them how great your business is
but instead to simply ask for their advice and opinion!
because…
EVERYONE likes to give their advice and opinion
and especially your close friends and family!
This is what you say
Can you please do me a quick favor?
and after they say “Yes”
You’re one of my most trusted friends and I need your advice and opinion and it’ll take just a few minutes.
I’m working on something exciting. Could you please take a look and let me know what you think?
After they say “yes”, then you send them a short video
Step 2: Disregard Their Advice and Opinion
Afterwards, ask for their advice and opinon
They most likely will NOT be supportive and may even be negative
Important thing is to disregard what they say.
One ear in… one ear out.
Your real goal isn’t to get their advice.
Your real purpose was for them to watch the video!
Step 3: Get them On 3 Way
After they’re done with their feedback
Get them on a 3 way call with your upline or another team member
They won’t listen to you but they will listen to someone else.
A good analogy is with your own children.
Often they won’t listen to you but they will listen to someone else that will give them the same advice.
So get your close friends and family to listen to someone else
Here’s a video that will teach you how to setup and do a good 3 way call/text
The key is to ask for their advice and then get them to talk to someone else.

OK To Stumble
It’s ok to make mistakes in your journey
It’s how we grow
We don’t grow much when things go well
But we learn the most when we make mistakes and reflect on the lessons we learn from them.
→ What mistakes have you made recently?
→ What action steps are you going to take from what you learned?!
