“Prospecting in person on the go”
Let’s first talk about the 2 types of people you’ll meet in person…
—– Lesson of the Day —–
How to Prospect Cold Market (Offline)
There are 2 categories of cold market people you meet offline and you prospect them differently
1 ) Someone You Likely Will See Again
Here are some examples:
- A new coworker in your office
- Someone new you meet in the gym
- Someone new you meet at church
- The cashier at the usual grocery store you shop at
These are people you will see again because you’ll be going back to that place
You can focus on relationship building.
The easiest way is to say hello and get to know them.
You do NOT want to just prospect them right away.
Build the relationship and trust FIRST before you use the Magic Script to invite them
2 ) Someone You Most Likely Will NOT See Again
Here are some examples:
- Someone standing in line at grocery store
- A restaurant server
With these people you MUST prospect them right away because you’re not going to see them again.
Do NOT make the mistake and try to build rapport and a fake relationship.
It’s very awkward.
You use the DIRECT approach.
Here’s what you can say to a restaurant server.
You compliment them and then use the direct approach
You’ve been great and I love your service. (Wait for them to respond)
By the way, our company is expanding in the area and looking for people like you. Would you be interested to earn an extra $500 a month and it won’t interfere with what you’re currently doing?
If they say “Yes”, the key is to NOT to present to them and do NOT send a video immediately!
Get their phone number and the best time to call them.
If they don’t want to give you their number, then you must have posture and kindly say
“No worries then. This is not for you.”
The Key is to NEVER present on the spot nor send a video immediately or else you look salesy, desperate and needy.
Here’s another example for people who’s standing in line
This is a random question but our company is expanding in the area. Would you know anyone that would be interested to earn an extra $500 a month and it won’t interfere with what they’re currently doing?
If they say “Yes”, get their number and set up a time just like with the restaurant server.
Here’s a blog post that goes into more detail
Remember to NEVER present on the spot or else you look salesy, desperate and needy.
The goal is to setup a call and that’s when you can present to them and send them a video.

You’re 100% Responsible
If you want to be successful,
you have to accept 100% responsibility for the past and your current situation.
If you criticize, complain or blame others…
then you’ll never be able to see what you need to do to get better.
→ Accepting responsibility for your problems is the first step towards personal growth and success.
